It has become apparent that Microsoft SharePoint has become a very popular product within the FE/HE sector in Scotland.
RSC Scotland South & West propose to establish a SharePoint Forum aimed at Information Managers, Technical Support and eLearning Staff. Meetings will be held at the RSC in Glasgow.
The Forum will address current developments, implementation and support issues, as well as providing specific Microsoft SharePoint training.
The Forum will be participant-led in that it is the members who will determine the agenda; the RSC will facilitate the delivery and practical aspects. The Forum is expected to meet three or four times per year, though, again, the exact frequency will be decided by the group itself.
