Blend2learn developed a process of curriculum planning and development which provides a sustainable approach to transforming learning and teaching using a competency based approach.
Throwing away the traditional method of delivering a college course Blend2Learn is providing a learner centred approach to qualifications. It also identifies competencies rather than qualifications for employment allowing a candidate to be a productive member of staff in a shorter timespan.
The presentation will be a roadmap of changing the culture and delivery of the Intermediate 2 Care course and follow the process of changing the course from teaching Psychology, Sociology and Values and Principles to creating a fictitious family which the student will follow through over years of the family's life cycle.
