Fionnuala Carmichael is Manager of the JISC RSC Scotland South & West. Previously, Fionnuala was deputy manager and e-advisor with responsibility for staff development and training. With a background in Psychology and English, before joining the RSC in 2001, Fionnuala held a number of roles in the secondary, further & higher education sectors including teaching, IT training and technical systems in library and information services.

Janis Carson
Vice Principal Academic Affairs at Glasgow Metropolitan College since 2006 with strategic responsibility for learning and teaching, curriculum, quality and support. Previous roles have included Assistant Principal of the School of Communication & Media at Glasgow Met and Dean of the Faculty of the Built Environment at Glasgow College of Building & Printing. Janis serves on a number of sectoral committees including as a Director on the Board of COLEG and on the JISC RSC (S&W) Steering Group.

With a teaching background in Communication and Information Management dating from 1991, Janis’s previous industry experience has included roles in events management and in estimation for the steel industry.

Allan Forsyth
Is an Assistant Principal at Cardonald College. With ten years experience of software development in private industry and seventeen years directing IT developments at Cardonald College, Glasgow, he has an in-depth knowledge of issues relating to the effective deployment of IT in colleges.

Martin Forte
Is the Network Services Manager at Cardonald College. He was instramental in the recent implementation of Cardonald's server virtualisation project.

Jen Fuller
e-Learning Technologist at Glasgow Metropolitan College since 2005 with responsibility for the development of e-learning and e-innovation across the College. Since graduating with an MSc in Multimedia and Interactive Systems Jen has worked in a number of FE and HE institutions, in both teaching and e-learning roles.

Previous roles have included ICT Skills Tutor at Glasgow Caledonian University and e-Learning Developer for the ESF-funded ‘Tourism e-Learning’ project at the Robert Gordon University. Jen works closely with college partners and e-learning practitioners across the sector, including the JISC RSC (S&W) and Scotland’s Colleges, and is a member of LEIF (practitioner-led Learning Evolution and Innovation Forum).

Duncan Gillespie
Is the e-Learning Coordinator/lecturer in computing for Dumfries and Galloway College. As lead for Dumfries and Galloway College’s Learning Solutions Team he is the link between academic and development staff. An important part of this job is to guide academic experts through the process of planning the development of new delivery.
Prior to joining the college he had spells as a programmer/project manager for a software house in North West England before coming to Dumfries and Galloway as Systems Development Manager for the NHS.
While working at the college he has been involved in a number of projects relating to e-learning and e-assessment. Most recently, he has been involved in the development of e-portfolios presenting at many colleges and conferences on Dumfries and Galloway’s procedures and use of their system.

James Henderson, Microsoft (UK)
James Henderson is a Partner Manager for Microsoft UK, based in the Microsoft Edinburgh offices and is actively engaged with key Microsoft Partners operating in Scotland, helping them to develop their Microsoft related business and technical capabilities plus engaging with the larger Scotland Partner ecosystem . James joined Microsoft in 1997 and has held a variety of roles. Initially working in Microsoft Services, within the Premier Support organisation, then moving onto Financial Services, and then moving into the role of Client Director for a Scottish global bank. James has worked in the IT Industry since graduating from Edinburgh University in 1983, working with Royal Bank of Scotland, and Babcock Defence in the roles of IT Support Manager, before joining Microsoft. James was born in Dunfermline and is married with two children.

Guy’s career has encompassed a number of industries, but the bulk of his experience is in the IT Services industry. He has worked for Honeywell, Bull and Steria at UK board director level leading teams providing software development, systems integration, managed services and consultancy to clients across the public sector. He has also worked within the public sector for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and others, and with some prestigious private sector clients. His prime interest is in the practical application of ICT to improve service delivery and administrative effectiveness.

Anne McNeil
Before taking on the role of project manager, Anne was Managing Director of Talkback, a consultancy company specialising in multimedia design and development and business transformation, which she created as a spin out from Stirling University in 1987.
She has worked internationally on major transformation projects for public and private sector and developed numerous eLearning and collaboration systems. Anne provides expert advice on Lifelong learning to the European Commission's Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, assessing Leonardo and Erasmus Projects and has a wide range of experience of writing successful ESF and ERDF bids.
Having previously been a Board member of LearnDirect Scotland and Scottish University for Industry she has both a strategic view and hands on experience of implementing flexible, blended learning. Her early career was in Higher and Further Education, as Head of Student Services at Queen Margaret College and later Commercial Manager of the Centre for Software Engineering Technology at Stirling University

Managing Director of www.scmg.co.uk operating at programme manager and senior consultant up to executive and board level with 15 years private and public sector procurement experience.
Martin has been involved in over £1 billion of tenders. He has provided strategic procurement advice and tactical support to public sector clients. This includes procurement strategy development and implementation from Policy to Process level and organisational design.
He has been involved in collaborative procurement initiatives where contracting authorities have worked together to leverage spend as well as working with organisations to develop strategic relationships and joint ventures.
Clients include Local Authorities, Non Departmental Public Bodies, the Higher Education Sector, NHS, TfL / London Underground (over 10 years) and multiple blue chip clients and SMEs in the private sector.
