The RSC has a Polycom VSX 7000 located in the centre's conference suite. With seating for up to 14 delegates, this facility is available to any College or HEI in the SW region for short tele-meetings or conferences.
The RSC can use this facility to meet with individuals remotely on an ad-hoc basis which can save the disruption & expense of travelling across the region for site visits etc.
The VSX 7000 has been setup to be H.323 & T.120 compliant to facilitate both videoconferencing and data sharing. You can connect to the facility through the JANET video conferencing service via the JANET JVCS managed service as detailed below.
