Support for Library and Learning Resources Staff

An image of a dictionary which will signify using word based materials. We have been consulting with library staff to build on the good work in creating accessible library environments.

As part of our service we can provide helpful advice to ensure you are aware of both commercial and open source assistive technologies, and that you are meeting the requirements of SENDA and the Disability Equality Duty within your area of work. We can provide advice and guidance on good practice in creating accessible library environments considering not only of the physical layout and design of library environments, but important issues about the sensory environment, creating accessible information and accessing resources in alternative formats.

TechDis also provide excellent guidance for library and learning resources staff on their community virtual learning environment. Create your own log in for more information or log in as a guest.
