ETNA (the Electronic Training Needs Analysis) is a series which spans 10 years, providing a window on Further Education in Scotland. It presents valuable strategic information to decision-makers within colleges and universities, and to any external agency and organisation interested in tertiary education.
On the Right Track, Volume IV of the ETNA Report, is based on the analysis of thousands of responses from individuals (both staff and students) in every Further Education College in the country. It looks at how technology is currently being used in colleges, how it might be used in the future, and the infrastructure and skills necessary to continue the huge progress which has been made over the last decade. Download a copy of the ETNA 2010 Report.
ETNA 2007 ETNA 2007 was designed to investigate the ICT-related skills and needs of staff working throughout Scottish Further Education. RSC will assist colleges in planning and implementing their own eLearning staff development programmes. The first step in moving towards this has been the development of a 'training transfer strategy'. To this end RSC staff have further developed the 'eSkills' materials to include a comprehensive tutor pack with a set of implementation guidelines. Support for colleges wanting to implement this will be provided by RSC staff. Follow this link for further details on eSkills and the Training Transfer Strategy .
